In the car, Sam asked me if I would "pull down that hook and put a clo on it. Then the sun wouldn't be in (his) eyes." I said, "which hook?" He replied, "that one where you can hang a clo." OK, I thought, he meant what he said. I rolled it around in my head for a minute to realize that he was talking about the clothes hook.
